Reduced admission rates apply to:

• School pupils, students, vocational trainees
• Visitors with a 50-per-cent or higher degree of disability (If the certificate of disability is marked with the letter “B”, admission for one accompanying person is free of charge. In this case, please request tickets for guided tours via the contact form.)
• Unemployed persons
• Members of the IGBK / IAA (International Association of Art)
• Visual artists who are members of the bbk e.V.
• Members of the Archäologen-Verband e.V.

Valid identification is required.

Admission for refugees

The Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung offers a reduced admission price of 1 euro for refugees upon presentation of appropriate proof.

Free Admission

Please note: Visitors with a press pass, ICOM-Card, MuseumsuferCard or -Ticket, vouchers, and other special conditions, as well as members of the Städelverein are entitled to visit the museum free of charge. Please ask for a free ticket at the ticket counter. Valid identification is required.

Members of the Städelverein

For members of the Städelverein and the Städelclub, admission to the Liebieghaus collection and all special exhibitions is free of charge at all times, with no queueing. Please ask for a free ticket at the ticket counter.

Families & Children

Admission is free for children under the age of 12.
Children and youths under 18 years of age are admitted free of charge when accompanied by at least one (related) adult with a valid online ticket, to be presented at the ticket counter. Please have a photo ID or student ID ready.

Groups

Members of groups (minimum group size: 10) are eligible for the reduced fee.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are available for purchase at the museum’s ticket counter and in our online shop. Gift certificates are valid for a visit to the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung, the Städel Museum, the Café im Liebieghaus, the café at the Städel, the Liebieghaus museum shop and the Liebieghaus online shop. Gift certificates and free tickets to the Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung are valid for three years from the date of issue unless otherwise indicated on the certificate/voucher (regular limitation period according to § 195 BGB).

MuseumuferCard and -Ticket

The MuseumuferCard and MuseumsuferTicket entitle their holders to free admission to all participating Frankfurt museums. Priority admission is not covered by the offer and unfortunately also not possible during special exhibitions. Please consult the museum cooperation pool guidelines for the MuseumsuferCard and the MuseumsuferTicket (in German). On presentation of your MuseumsuferCard or -Ticket plus photo ID at the ticket counter, you will be issued a free admission ticket.
